Big power blocs are working hard in Washington to allow corporate giants (cable companies, telecommunications providers, media conglomerates) control of Internet access by establishing 'walled gardens' and exorbitant usage fees. The fewer restrictions and hidden modifications there are to accessing information and to cross-boundary communications, the less conditioned we are in terms of mind, lifestyle and pocketbook.
